High Diversion Exemplar Partnership Recycling Project

Five local authorities in partnership with community sector and other organisations, have been chosen to receive extra support and help to attempt to achieve over 50% waste reduction in MSW within three years – by March 31st 2006. The funding will be used to pay the salary and costs of the Cylch development officers that will support the community sector’s partnership role in the exemplar development. It will also pay the targeted consultancy that will enable good partnership and professional standards of service delivery and to further public education about each exemplar and to help disseminate information.
