High Hurstwood Village Hall, Nr Uckfield – New Facilities (1993/D)

The project aims to bring more sports activity to the village recreation ground, where there is a demand from the community and also a requirement for the local school. To achieve this we need use the changing rooms for their original purpose as they are currently used for storage and to convert an external storeroom to an outside WC. We currently also use a container with temporary planning permission to house equipment for the Fete and other activities. Building a new store, for which planning permission has be granted, will allow us to free up space in the hall for it to be used to support sports activities on the recreation ground.
The Trust grant will contribute towards the new store room.
