High Lane Playful Spaces

Groundwork will transform three play spaces on the High Lane estate on Hanway road and Hobbayne road within the London Borough of Ealing. We will utilise natural play concepts and traditional play equipment alongside provision for ball games to create exciting leisure spaces.
Currently, the areas are small, ain very poor condition with little play or biodiversity value. The play equipment is minimal and seen as dangerous, unwelcoming and un-inspiring.
This project will address the need for safer, interesting, attractive play areas for children, young adults and the wider community to play and interact with nature.
