High-level repairs to roof of St Michael’s Church, Southwick

High-level repairs the church roof, downpipes, gutters etc. The main area of damage is towards the east end of the church, particularly the areas joining the Victorian nave to the Norman chancel. A 19th century fire destroyed the central Norman body of the church, which was rebuilt to join the west tower to the east chancel. Our objective is to seek professional advice and resources which will restore the building structurally and sympathetically with the Grade 2* listing and its strong role in the local community. This project will provide guttering which is more in keeping with the historical nature of the building.
