Higher Hyde Heath Access and Grazing Project

The aim of the project is to improve the conservation management of Higher Hyde Heath and its value as a public nature reserve through joining separate areas of the reserve and establishing an extensive grazing regime to benefit the conservation management of the site. The main elements of the project are: the installation of cattle grid across a road that bisects the two areas of Higher Hyde Heath Nature Reserve Installation of fencing to enable the site to be grazed as one unit Installation of new access furniture to facilitate easy access by visitors Installation of new fully accessible interpretation together with a waymarked trail utilising the newly connected areas of the reserve
