Highnam Church Car Park and Estate Boundary Fencing to Church

This scheme is to provide adequate pedestrian and vehicular access to the church for parishioners, including access for hearses, wedding parties, festivals and christenings etc. Currently there are no car parking facilities for the church and use is made of the facilities at the Highnam Community Centre site. There is a long walk of 125 meters that includes 2 sets of steps and requires visitors to the church to be reasonably fit and is unsuitable for the disabled, pall bearers and brides. The new parking will provide fully inclusive access to the main entrance of the parish church. The new estate fencing is an intergral part of the project.
