Highwood Road, Brockenhurst – MUGA (005382)

This project will provide a MUGA and separate green space for use by the community in Brockenhurst and especially for young people aged 10-17 yrs. The MUGA will be on a site adjacent to a village hall and will be community funded and managed. Conveniently located in what is an ‘amenities’ road (cul-de-sac) close to a popular play park for under 8’s, a pre-school in the village hall, the Scout Hut and adjacent to the doctors’ surgery, the MUGA will allow families and children of all ages to mix and benefit from outdoor exercise and social interaction. The project will provide a much needed outdoor community recreation area, and the green space will house a teen shelter, picnic tables and outdoor table tennis.
