Histon Methodist Church

Refurbishment of toilet facilities at Histon Methodist Church resulting in 4 self-contained gender neutral toilets and one disabled toilet compliant with best ecological and accessibility standards. As part of the project the heating and light for this part of the building will be upgraded to allow it to use electricity generated off-peak and stored by battery until required. This will also prepare the building for the installation of solar panels in the future. The elements of the project are: Replace roof incorporating effective insulation and insulate external walls Install energy efficient heating in toilet area Install new sanitary ware with modern on-demand/timed hot water and dryers Upgrade electrics to enable off peak energy storage in battery Decoration of walls, doors and floors
