History in the Park, Gaskell Park, St Helens

This is a project to renew the original plaque which is situated at the entrance to the park and was laid at the park’s opening in 1904. The project aims to involve young people with older residents to explore the local history of the park and surroundings and have it recorded on interpretation boards to be displayed in the park.
