Holcombe Pony Club’s Giant Sculpture

The project will enable 10 – 15 members of Holcombe Pony Club (aged 16 – 25) to take part in 25 half day sessions, working with quality artists and tutors to create an interesting outdoor classroom space with a large sculpture in the centre, which will be a partnership piece for the Willow Man at Crow Wood Leisure Centre, Burnley, this project will create a piece in Rossendale. The participants will receive accreditation in countryside skills such as dry stone walling, willow weaving, footpath restoration, stock fencing etc and will have an opportunity to learn about a variety of art forms whilst working on the sculptural centrepiece.
