Holwell Playground Improvement Project

To improve, enhance and renovate the children’s playground situated in the village of Holwell.
Holwell is a rural village with limited recreational amenities for children. Within the village’s recreation ground is an area set aside for a children’s playground but the current equipment is limited to swings and a toddler sea-saw. A wooden climbing frame, which was popular, was removed for safety reasons after its condition deteriorated through weathering.
The Committee therefore wishes to install new equipment (and surfacing) which is sturdy and safe and will inspire children to be adventurous, creative and promote learning and enjoyment. It is hoped the area will become a place for families to meet.
