Holy Cross Church, Babcary – WC/Servery with Disabled access

The PCC wish the Church to be used more widely, and believe that it should be more hospitable for present users, both able-bodied and disabled. However, it has neither wheelchair access, running water nor toilet facilities. The PCC has obtained planning permission, a faculty and other necessary consents to erect a small, wooden clad building containing a WC (with disabled facilities) with hot and cold running water; and a basic kitchen/servery. Also, as part of the works, a mains water supply will be established, and they will also reconfigure the main entrance into the churchyard, installing a shallow ramp to allow wheelchair access.
