Holy Isle Gateway Project

Produce a new all accessible gateway to the Holy Isle:
• Creation of an improved landing facility and island gateway – allowing safe landing from the sea and better access for elderly and less mobile.
• Improved welcome and interpretation for visitors and the community.
• Enable volunteers from the Holy Isle, Isle of Arran and elsewhere to learn new sustainable building, maintenance and conservation skills – and become involved with the Holy isle Project and the island’s community.
Benefit Arran economy:
• Additional visitors
• Holy Isle taking its place as an additional natural, cultural and high quality tourist destination.
Enable the Holy Isle and its resident’s to be more self-sufficient and sustainable.
