Holywell Orchard Stage 1

Holywell Orchard is a community green space, and old traditional orchard with a wellhead, in the heart of the towns of Cam and Dursley. It is well used by the local community and is valuable for a variety of birdlife and wildlife, and was designated a “Doorstep Green” in 2005. Holywell Orchard is in need of a range of improvement, renovation and maintenance, to improve its benefits for the local community and wildlife. Stroud Valleys Project will work with Lower Kingshill Management Co-operative, GL11, and other local groups, and engage a new generation of volunteers to form a Friends of Holywell Orchard group to maintain, improve and protect this community amenity.
