HOPE Community Centre, Portsmouth – Disabled Lift (10228/D)

This project is part of a phased renovation of 100 year old community halls, previously used as a community theatre, the main facilities being on the third floor. HOPE Portsmouth purchased the hall in 2015 and wishes to enable all our services to access the upper floor and therefore this project is to install a lift to enable equality of access. This will enable disabled service users, parents with buggies and those with limited mobility full access to our services. The first phase of the building work has involved a new heating system with funds donated by local donors and further fundraising is taking place for a community kitchen and improved toilet facilities.

The trust will contribute towards the disabled lift.
