Horbury Methodist Church, Wakefield – Community Hall Refurbishment (50191/D/TP)

The project aim is to to refurbish the hall, which is used by community groups every day of the week and bring it up to twenty first century standards for the benefit of all who use it. A corridor will be created enabling access to all the rooms so that multiple use of the premises becomes possible. The stage will be removed to enlarge the main hall and new toilets with baby changing facilities will be installed. The three ancillary meeting rooms will also be refurbished allowing an expanded range of community activities to take place. A new heating system will also be installed. The Trust grant will contribute towards the refurbishment.
