Horsefair Play Area, Penkridge – Play Park Refurbishment (007621)

The Horsefair Play Area is in the centre of the village and used by a wide range of age and abilities of children aged between 5 – 12. The equipment at the Play area is manufactured from wood and was installed in 1996 but has deteriorated over the past two years with one piece of equipment having to be removed last year and the slide combination to be removed this year. It is the appropriate time to review the Play Area and replace the items removed together with additional equipment which will be inclusive so all children can play together and one one is excluded. The Play Area does not currently have any inclusive equipment which will be installed as part of this project.
