Horsforth Cricket Club – Junior Cricket Field

Horsforth Cricket Club is located at King George’s Field, Brownberrie Lane, Horsforth.

The Club has a clubhouse, practice facilities and one cricket pitch which is extensively used throughout the season, particularly by the junior sections. Adjacent to this is an area of land which was previously used for football but was declared unfit for purpose due to the poor drainage. Leeds City Council has agreed to its use for junior cricket by the Club and a lease has been drafted.

The project involves improving the drainage on the site and creating a ‘square’ which will provide 6 wickets.
