Horsham Riverside Walk Enhancement – Phase 1

The project is divided in two phases

Phase 1 – (this application) Installation of Way Signs, directional signs, benches, interpretation boards and the creation of environmental support groups.

Phase 2 – (to build on the results of phase 1) Enhancement of walking/cycling surfaces. The circular ‘Riverside Walk’, covers 20 kilometres, around Horsham and is substantially alongside a network of water courses, which surround the town.

Phase one will improve visitor numbers and experiences using this vital green space by providing directional signs and interpretation boards, benches for rest stops (of particular benefit to older or disabled walkers) providing an impetus for volunteer groups to look after various stretches of the route.
