Hoxton Hall Capital Project 2008-09

Hoxton Hall is a grade 2* listed music hall built in 1863 and has been on the buildings at risk register for 10 years. Hoxton Hall is now a thriving youth arts centre in Hackney and is based in the worst areas of social and economic deprivation. The project focuses on making sure the building is water and wind tight with a new roof and a dance studio increasing service provision to 1430 young people per year. Roof - investigate and repair structure, new roof coverings and insulation and repair/replace guttering. Dance floor and mirrors - install multi purpose dance floor in Stewart Hall, installation of mirrors and make good/redecorate.
