Hunts Lock Community Woodland

The project aims to improve the community woodland as an educational and recreational resource, through the involvement of local people in the enhancement works. Located on a main route way into Northwich town centre, the project will involve the installation of a new footpath, repair and upgrade existing paths, sowing of wildflowers, replanting native species of trees following thinning works, planting fruit trees, fencing around a pond, a new boardwalk area and dredging of the pond to increase pond life.
