Hutchinson’s Bank LNR, Croydon – Conservation Grazing of Chalk Grassland (2597/DA)

Hutchinson’s Bank LNR, despite being on the urban fringe, is also a valuable chalk grassland reserve that hosts an amazing diversity of butterflies, insects, flowers and birds. The project aims to install piped water and water troughs to the grazing area on the site. There will also be clearing of scrub and the building of a catching pen. The Trust will contribute to the conservation grazing of the chalk grassland.
