Ickworth Barbastelle Bat Conservation

The project invovles specialist survey work by licensed bat workers, including radio tracking to locate the roost sites in trees and preferred habitats for Barbastelle Bats at Ickworth National Trust Estate. Once the maternity roosts and main foraging areas have been found, then the management of the woods and parkland at Ickworth can be developed to protect and enhance their population
