Identifying Dorset’s Important Marine Features

The project will address a number of specific targets identified within the UK Biodiversity Action Plan and the Dorset Biodiversity Strategy for which Dorset Wildife Trust is lead partner.
The project will identify the presence and extent of important marine features (eg priority habitat and species) within the South Dorset coast maritime Natural Area and make this information available in a variety of accessible formats. Carrying out systematic surveys of the habitats identified above is specified as a priority, as is the dissemination of information to support better conservation of these important marine features
