Improved Access to Carr House Green Common, Inskip

Carr House green Common is publicly accessible land that is designated a local biological heritage site and is the only remnant lowland wet grassland meadow in the north west of England.The project aims to improve public access to the common by creating a circular nature ramble as well as installing a section of boardwalk over wet meadow area. Pond and watercourse management will be undertaken to improve habitats for nesting and over wintering birds Sign posting and information panels will be installed as well as improvements to visitor parking.
