Improvement of Drainage on Pitch 2 and Pitch 3

The site has four grass pitches comprising one senior pitch (pitch1) one junior pitch (pitch 2) and two mini-soccer pitches (pitch 3). The drainage of pitches 2 and 3 has deteriorated over the last two years leading to an unacceptable level of junior and mini-soccer games being cancelled and restricting the number of teams that can be run. We have been advised that carrying out a sand slitting / top dressing / vertidrainage operation on the pitches would improve the drainage, reduce the number of cancelled games and enable us to increase the number of teams run to twenty. The directors have decided that in order to safeguard and then increase our level of activity it is vital that we carry out this work during May/June this year.
