Improvement to the Pond in Pond Close Nature Conservation Area

The south bank of the pond has become a quagmire with little water movement resulting in stagnation and marsh gas. The project will remove overgrown shrubs and roots, dig out Dogwood, install re-cycled plastic piling with inserted posts for reinforcement and inner liner across bay area, prepare the ground with a digger and contour the ground to form a level bank and infill with dredged silt, rake and level the soil. Grade the area above and around the installation to make it more aesthetically pleasing and user friendly.
