Improvements at Thorpe Scout and Guide Headquarters

This project seeks for the provision of a wooden gate and fencing around Thorpe Scout and Guide HQ to improve safety for all who use the facility. Essential repairs to the HQ ceiling are also included within the scheme. The HQ is located close to an increasingly busy and fast road, with a high traffic risk to children. the existing barbed wire fence is in disrepair and a safety hazard. Installation of the fencing and gate will be undertaken by local volunteers at no cost. The amenity is used by local community groups and organisations and also available for private hire
