Improvements to Bird Feeding station & Hide

4 years ago we trialled a bird feeding station with a small hide to add another interest for visitors to the Green. It was constructed from reclaimed material from the Green. Its proved pleasing, particularly for family groups. We wish to expand this dog free area further, by expanding the hide & making wheelchair/ pushchair provision. We have over 50 bird boxes in various copses which are surveyed annually. We get about 90% occupancy including 30+ pairs of red listed tree sparrows. we wish to improve planting (eg broom) & encourage absent river bank species.
