Improvements to facilities at public playing field amenity to permit increased use by schools and young people.

Evesham Cricket Club has the only cricket field available for public use in Evesham, the ground is also used for Rugby, Athletics and Bowls. Improvements for public use were subject of Projects 419402.001, 002 and 003 (all now closed) in the period 2002 – 2005. Since then the ground has been subject to severe flood damage and progressively greater use by local schools, who have either no facilities for cricket or inadequate facilities of their own. To meet this demand, improvements are proposed to artificial playing surface used for junior cricket, changing rooms, and essential facilities needed for all cricket including scorebox and sight-screens which are in poor condition and in urgent need of repair and refurbishment.
