Improvements to Pond at Three Brooks Nature Reserve

This project aims to work with volunteers to install a fence around a pond to protect it from the numerous dogs that are walked on the Three Brooks Nature Reserve. This will allow plants to establish in the pond and will encourage development of a valuable ecosystem which will benefit the Great Crested Newts that have been recorded on site. Volunteers will also make and install a bench; design and install a sign post; plant wildflowers around the pond to increase habitats and construct a dipping platform for use by school groups.
