Improving Access at College Lake Nature Reserve near Tring in Buckinghamshire

Public access to College Lake is currently only possible via the main entrance on the B488. This entrance is on a busy main road with no pavement for those arriving on foot. Part of BBOWT’s plans to promote greater access to the reserve and the new facilities involves creating better links into existing transport infrastructure. BBOWT plans therefore to create a new footpath at the south-western most corner of the reserve to allow visitors to enter the reserve as soon as possible thus avoiding the need to walk on the road to the main entrance.
