Improving an Essential Community Asset for the People of Oxenhall

To enlarge, equip and make fit for purpose the small kitchen at Oxenhall Parish Hall. The only meeting place in the community (especially for the elderly and disabled) and visitors / tourists. Oxenhall village wishes to encourage wider participation and usage of the hall not only for the local people but those from further afield whose financial support is essential for the hall, Church and community.
To implement the recommendations of the Parish Plan drawn up in consultation with the community confirming need for improvement for increased capacity to provide adult learning, family days, tourism and possibly a local market.
To promote local businesses by staging events with the support of visitors.
To provide a venue for the social interaction for the elderly in Oxenhall and neighbouring parishes, combined with a luncheon club.
Oxenhall is famed for its daffodils and ancient woodland, canal, nature reserves, geopark project and Area of Special Interest. These attract increasing numbers of visitors.
