Improving Cliffe Pools nature reserve as a public amenity – enhancing visitor infrastructure and enriching the wildlife spectacle

This aim of this project is to install and improve the visitor facilities at Cliffe Pools nature reserve by establishing new, and upgrading current nature trails and viewpoints/hides, creating interactive play areas or “Discovery Zones” and installing interpretation. This project also seeks to improve the site as a public amenity and enhance the wildlife spectacle through rubbish clearance, minor habitat improvements, including water management. The work will allow a wide range of people to enjoy a wildlife-rich resource, whilst seeking to open up physical and intellectual access for all.
