Improving Community Facilities at Malthouse Garden, Ideal for All (Growing Opportunities), Oldbury, West Midlands

This is a project to purchase and construct a ‘Kederhouse’ insulated protected cropping/classroom structure at Malthouse Garden, to replace a too small and unsuitable polytunnel. The Kederhouse offers improved accommodation and ventilation for hot weather, and retains heat better in cold weather. This will enable the applicant to host more and larger groups for its popular therapeutic horticulture activities. Malthouse Garden is a community agricultural site.
