Improving efficiencies and customer experience at Sandford Parks Lido

Our community amenity, is currently operating on a boiler system from the 1980’s and a heat exchanger from 1935. A recent inspection found its efficiency rating is 50% and could fail at any moment. The boiler is also too small which is why we find it difficult to reach the temperature in our low season. Boiler failure would result in closure of our facility until a suitable replacement could be installed. With this in mind we aim to replace the system during this winters closed period.

Replacement will achieve higher efficiency rating, efficient heat exchange, reduced carbon footprint and greater community experience throughout the season.
