Increasing Access to Hope Carr Nature Reserve

The aim of the project is to increase public access to Hope Carr Nature Reserve formerly private land owned by United Utilities. The project is intended to increase amenities for visitors and improve access to various viewpoints and areas of interest. The improvements will also enhance the experience of children visiting the environmental education centre creating more areas for teaching and learning across the site. Specific tasks include installing a number of benches, a bird hide, bird feeding stations, a viewing area, an information board and planting a new hedgerow
