Increasing Usable Space at Mafeking Hall

Mafeking Hall in the village of Pilning is owned by the 1st Severn Beach Scout Group and regularly used by them and six other community groups. However, with over 130 young people alone coming through the door each week, the building is now too small which inhibits further young people benefiting from the scouting activities and also inhibits further community groups using the building. This project seeks to mitigate this through the creation of additional meeting rooms and a mezzanine floor with a separate entrance to allow simultaneous use of the building by more than one group.
