Information and Craft hubs for the Lomond Hills and Falkland Estate

Aims: • To provide an information hub for visitors to the Lomond Hills. The hub will provide an orientation point for information on walks, on the history, environment & heritage of the area, as well as opportunities to book into activities & register for volunteering. • To provide a dedicated craft hub in the centre of Fife that will cater for the needs of local crafts people & artists, & offer a venue for workshops. • Offer a dedicated space for the Living Lomonds trainees. • Landscape at the front of the Stables & provide cycle racks. Through this we will: • Restore & enhance the B-listed Stables with increased public access. • Increase public awareness of our work, encouraging participation in the learning programmes. • Increase learning and understanding of the history & environment of the area. • Encourage people to enjoy this area of Fife through exploring different walks & cycle routes. • Increase opportunities for learning about traditional & sustainable craft skills.
