Innovative use of tyres and other recycled materials in polymer composites for noise absorption and blast-proof panels.

The project will develop new markets for tyre crumb, shred and plastics by developing innovative fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composites that incorporate these materials. The composites will be used for noise and blast absorption panels and will be tested to compare with conventional panels.
