Inshes Park

The project is to develop a new district park in the Inshes area of Inverness. The park area is approximately 32.5 hectares (80 acres) and is divided into three parts by Stevenson Road and the Milton Of Leys link. However the three parts will be linked across Stevenson Road by a safe crossing and across Milton of Leys route by a footway/cycleway bridge.

A proposed path system includes a main network of combined footpath and cycle ways (2m width) and a secondary footpath only system (1m width).
It is hoped that the local schools will be encouraged to take an educational interest in the progress of biodiversity in their park.
