The three first floor meeting rooms and toilets are only accessible by stairs, which excludes use by those with mobility issues and those with small children. Several groups have advised that they are unable to hire the first-floor rooms to deliver their activities due to members not being able to manage access.

The café is open six days each week and attracts 550 people each week. Regular weekly groups include a church owned pre-school, creative writing, several uniformed groups, a toddler group, sing and sign, badminton, slimming clubs, memory support, brass band, several fitness groups, youth club and two fellowship groups. There are several bi-weekly groups and the NHS use the site monthly for blood donation.
