Installation of Accessible Scoreboards

Current scoreboards can only be reached by a high step off the bowls green which is a struggle for older members. They are inaccessible to disabled or less mobile members. The old scoreboards are to be removed and replaced with electronic scoreboards. These will have remote control handsets which will be attached to hand rails on the rink side. This means that anyone on the rink can use them. Master boards will also be added to enable away team scores to be highlighted so teams can see the overall scores in a match (home and away). These can be controlled by a nominated spectator so allowing someone no longer able to bowl to feel involved.
