Installation of heating for 1st Ryde & 1st Binstead Scout Group

The aim of the project is to drag the 1980 built scout hall into the 21st century by installing heating to create a warm and inviting community facility. When the hut was built in 1980 there was no internal ceiling or roof insulation and the only form of heating was a second hand gas heater. The applicant has installed a fully insulated suspended ceiling and the building has been re-wired. In order to complete these sections of the refurbishment project the old gas heater was removed. The applicant now wishes to install a modern, energy efficient Benson VRA70 room sealed, fan assisted gas fired heater as part of the modernisation of the building.
