Internal & external Improvements to Fremington Quay Heritage Centre Phase IV

Phase I completed in 2001 regenerated the Quay & new Visitor Centre has gone from strength to strength, achieving over 100,000 footfall to the Quay this year. We have had numerous letters of support for the following phases.
Phase II & III are being delivered to provide an extension and bespoke fit-out interpreting the clay and port history of the site.
Phase IV – the subject of this application,.aims to enhance the external site by sign posting the facility to those who use the Tarka Trail, café, cycle hire business that in turn will help those micro businesses, provide a children’s wooden play ship that ties in with the port history set out internally and utilise the outside space.
