Interpretation, Access and Habitat Improvements at Bough Beech Visitor Centre and Nature Reserve

This project will enable us to carry out a variety of interpretation, access and habitat improvements over a one year period, in order to enable people of all learning and physical abilities to enjoy the special wonders of Bough Beech. Objectives include: -To provide easily understandable, non-intrusive signage to move people around the site -To provide tactile displays that increase understanding about the biodiversity and history of the site -To increase self guided access for all users including people with disabilities -To provide interactive interpretation displays to stimulate interest and understanding of the sites wildlife -To compliment the work completed on the site to date by providing an accessible and exciting site guide -To create areas of natural planting for the benefit of biodiveristy and for the enjoyment of our visitors -To provide volunteering opportunities for members of the local community, in particular foundation learning groups.
