Interpretation Boards at Sevenoaks Kent Wildlife Trust Reserve

To improve physical and intellectual access to the new elemental garden and to the main nature reserve. We will provide two conventional main interpretation boards for entrances to the garden, two totem poles carrying images of nature as well as a number of smaller, more innovative and tactile sculpted information blocks signposting and explaining the different elements of the garden. At present there is very little interpretive information for visitors on entering the reserve and it is therefore a challenge for visitors unfamiliar with the site to access and negotiate nature trails and to discover the type of habitats and wildlife available. The garden will be particulary used by school children and those with physical and sensory disabilities and therefore the more tactile and innovative materials will be of benefit to them.
