Interpreting Tupholme Abbey

Heritage Lincolnshire plan to install new interpretation boards on the site of this 12th century monastic abbey. A recent project by a local archaeological society has recorded loose masonry present at the site. This work will offer further information as to the original monastic buildings. This information and details of the natural heritage of the site will be included on the new boards. The site is an area of conserved grassland and includes ponds, traditional hedges and a wildlife garden. The location of the boards will take disabled access into account.
