IRMO Centre, London - Community Centre Refurbishment (007463)

Refurbishment of the community centre in the Angell Town estate in Brixton, for the benefit of the immediate local community and the wider Latin American population of London. The centre previously 2 adjacent shop units has no internal link which makes it complicated regarding access and management. Phase 1 will link both sides of the building together, to create a welcoming reception area, expand the community spaces and one to one advice rooms. This project is phase 2 renewing the kitchen/bathrooms, provide secondary glazing, new heating to improve energy efficiency, improved security, functionality of the community rooms and welcome area will also be improved.
