Islip Bowls Club

The village recreation ground was given to the village by the Lord of the Manor and has in the past been funded by the village through fund raising events. The Bowling Club forming pat of the recreation ground were asked if they would take over more land and develop the Bowling Club. Fundraising and volunteer time has enabled this to happen. The club now competes at a higher level and have fund raised to erect a new building incorporating changing rooms. The building will be used to hold fundraising events and other small functions. The Bowling Club and the building will be open for use by all. An electricity supply to the building is now needed to bring the project to its full potential
